BARRE ROOM
Island Om’s Barre Room is the Yang to Yoga’s Yin, by turning up the volume in music and intensity!
Island Om believes in the concept of dualism. How the opposite or contrary forces, may actually be complementary and interconnected. Yoga & Barre may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another while feeling overall balance. A "Barre Class” is a workout technique inspired by elements of Ballet, Yoga, and Pilates. It is a high energy class that focuses on building strength & flexibility, through calorie burn moves. When doing it correctly, you will improve your balance and posture through stability work that will give you a stronger core and long lean muscles.
OM Body Sculpt
Yoga meets Barre without the barre in this Yoga/Pilates infused hybrid. Moving thru dynamic strength sequences, this is a low impact/ high intensity class that keeps you moving with a good beat! You'll improve your body's balance, flexibility, and core strength during this total body conditioning class. You will target each muscle group, sculpting a long figure from head to toe while strengthening your whole body. It's not cardio, but you will sweat and get your heart rate up! Modifications always offered, all levels welcome!
OM Barre
Barre First, Drinks Later! This is a Barre Class for All… High Intensity/ Low impact Total Body Conditioning. You will work, burn, and shake each muscle group for the first 50 minutes, while the last 10 minutes are a deep stretch to release all those hard working muscles and any leftover tension. You will improve your body’s balance, flexibility, and core strength while incorporating light weights, resistance bands, and the ballet barre to elevate your heart rate and strengthen your range of motion. Targeting each muscle group helps sculpt a long figure from head to toe while strengthening your whole body to an amazing beat! When committed regularly, you will see noticeable differences in under 10 classes!
OM BARRE FOUNDATIONS
Same format as OM Barre, but more attention to form, learning more basic postures with the opportunity to progress to harder ones. This class moves a little slower, with more explanation of which muscles are being used.
Modifications always offered, all levels welcome.
Created by Jax, this is the only Barre class, where you have triple the time to recover thru dynamic stretching and movement. It not only releases the grip we hold physically, but emotionally as well.
OM BODY PILATES
Based on the Pilates Mat Method, this is a low impact class using the pilates training practice on the mat, without a reformer. In this class, you hold movements like planks, side planks, and core exercises to build your muscles and core strength during this total body conditioning. You'll improve your body's balance, flexibility, and core strength sculpting a long figure from head to toe! Modifications always offered, all levels welcome!
HIIT THE BARRE
HIIT the Barre! Welcome to the Club!! Lights turned down, Disco lights on - You will be turning the heat up on Barre with HIIT intervals!
Warmup - 3 Circuits/ 3Moves each, for 3X each - 1 Cardio Break - FINALE - Ending with a stretch.
Warning!! You may feel Hungover in the morning, in a good way!
SCULPTILICIOUS
Taking our Signature Om Body Sculpt Class and creating a 45 minute Express Class, with special attention on a specific area (Abs, Booty, Legs, Arms). You will still get a full body workout feeling in less time! This class moves faster with less breaks, but still ends with a juicy stretch and cool down at the end.
DANCE BLAST CARDIO
Go ahead and Shake it Off! Turn up the heat, and raise your heart rate in Haley's personally designed Dance Cardio Class with an extra side of Standing ABS!
45 minutes of Dance Cardio moves + 5 minutes cooldown.
No Dance experience necessary, but having Fun is a must! Please wear sneakers.
